Featured author & illustrator: Shaun Tan
Escape into the wonderful world of Australian author and illustrator, Shaun Tan, by exploring some of his wonderfully creative, quirky and touching books. We have many of his books in our school library including The Arrival, The Lost Thing, Tales from Outer Suburbia and The Red Tree. Tan has also worked as an illustrator and/or collaboratively with many other authors including John Marsden (The Rabbits), Gary Crew (Memorial) and Janine Burke (The Doll).
Shaun Tan provides an insight into his Asian heritage and growing up in Australia in the non-fiction book, Growing up Asian in Australia (editor: Alice Pung). You can find it in our Biographies collection at 305.895094 GRO.
